Daily Schedule

  • Playground & Chores

    • Encourages gross motor skills and allows the children to greet the animals.  Climbing, swinging, running, games, sandbox, etc.  Children may interact with the animals in ways such as feeding the chickens, gathering eggs, riding the pony, petting the rabbit or brushing the sheep.

  • Handwashing

  • Story

    • Develops language and listening skills

  • Snack

    • Develops good health habits and nutrition

  • Structured group activity

    • Develops cognitive and fine motor abilities and language skills

  • Individual free choice

    • Develops fine and gross motor skills.  May include science, snack preparation, art, drama, story center, block center, or manipulative toy shelves

  • Clean up

    • All children participate

  • Music

    • Develops language and listening skills

  • Preparation for going home
